                                                          Harry's shoes

 

 

       One of Harry's feet was bigger than the other . "I can never find shoes for my feet . "he said to his friend Dick .

     " Why don't you go to a shoe maker ? " Dick said . A good one can make you good shoes . "

     "Aren't they very expensive ? Harry said .

     "No" Dick said. "Some of them aren't . There's a good one in our village , and he's cheap . Here's his address."

      He wrote something in on a piece of paper and gave it to Harry . Harry went to the shoe maker in Dick'e village in a few days later , and the shoe maker made him some shoes .

      Harry went to the shop again a week later and looked at the shoes . Then he said to the shoe maker angrily : "you're a silly man . I said , Make one shoe bigger than the other , but you're made one smaller than the other ."

تنها شاگرد ایرانی اینشتین

 

 

                                        

 

                                     دکتر محمود حسابی

      دکتر حسابی در سال 1281 هجری شمسی در تهران چشم به جهان گشود. تحصیلات ابتدایی و متوسطه اش را در بیروت سپری کرد و در سن 17 سالگی لیسانس ادبیات، در 19 سالگی لیسانس بیولوژی و پس از آن مدرک مهندسی راه و ساختمان گرفت. وی در سال 1990 میلادی (1349 هجری شمسی) ، در سن 88 سالگی به عنوان مرد علمی جهان انتخاب شد.

     دکتر حسابی در یک شرکت راه سازی فرانسوی مشغول به کار شد و توسط همان شرکت به پاس خدماتش برای ادامه ی تحصیل به فرانسه اعزام شد. نتیجه ی سفر، دکترای فیزیک در سن 25 سالگی بود.دکتر حسابی علاوه بر این ها در رشته های پزشکی، ریاضیات و ستاره شناسی نیز تحصیلات آکادمیک داشت.

     بهتر است فکر نکنید که دکتر حسابی تمام عمرش را درس خوانده  و درس داده، بلکه استاد، با شعر و موسیقی سنتی ایران و موسیقی کلاسیک غرب هم به خوبی آشنا بود. او می توانست نی، ساز دهنی، ویولون و پیانو را به خوبی بنوازد. استاد اهل ورزش هم بود. شنا، کوه نوردی، دوچرخه سواری و دومیدانی از ورزش های مورد علاقه اش بود و در این رشته ها موفقیت هایی هم کسب کرده بود. او دیپلم نجات غریق هم داشت. دکتر حسابی به چهار زبان زنده ی دنیا، فرانسه، انگلیسی، آلمانی و عربی مسلط بود و به چند زبان زنده ی دیگر اشراف داشت. دکتر حسابی تنها شاگرد ایرانی اینشتین بوده و مردان بزرگی چون دکتر چمران، پروفسور لطفی زاده (مخترع سیستم های هوش مصنوعی) و مهندس بازرگان از شاگردان این مرد بزرگ بودند.
